Parents and carers of pre-school children have a new source of health information at their fingertips with the introduction of a new app packed with advice on a wide range of common childhood illnesses.

 Berkshire West Children’s Health App

The Berkshire Child Health app, available on Apple and Android, was commissioned by the four Clinical Commissioning Groups in Berkshire West as a digital update to a booklet produced 4 years ago.

It gives tips on how to manage common ailments, such as coughs, sore throats and teething and advice on when and where to seek help from a healthcare professional and, through the power of their phone or tablet, is available 24/7.

A version of the app has also been made into a booklet and printed - you can downoload it here. This has been distributed through GP surgeries and other community organisations.
